I still find it hilarious that he passed himself off as a black guy. My Spanish grandmother is darker than him. Speaking of guys who passed themselves off as black to get into college:

My father was darker than he, and dad was all north German.

Of course, we have a dear oral-surgeon friend who is “black” - but at a glance you’d not know it. You have to look harder to see features.

I won’t count another dear friend, genuinely African, teacher alongside my mom when she worked, who is albino.
