I agree we made a judgement error in allowing the media free reign in covering the “highway of death”. We did the same in WW2 during Operation Cobra in the Falaise Pocket. War is brutal.
The “Highway of Death” didn’t have that much death. Iraqi soldiers commandeering vehicles to take out all they looted from homes in Kuwait City. Most of the Iraqis fled unharmed from the vehicles before they were shot up.
