I think that would be the first time in history they have made someone repay them for training. Remember that freak that flashed his communist stuff at the academy? They kicked him out without requiring him to repay them. I doubt this would hold-up in court, and I bet it is an empty threat. This admin likes to do that kind of thing.
1- that would be grounds for a discrimination suit I would think
2- i would think any dishonorably discharged sailor who was not forced to pay for training would be grounds for a discrimination suit for any sailor who chooses not to get vaxxed and is charged by the admin
3- don’t Navy recruits have to sign a contract upon enlisting? Does the contract specify you can be charged if discharged??
That commie who was kicked out was just a couple of years ahead of his time. Nowadays he would have been fast-tracked for promotions.
This will work wonders for recruiting. /S
“I doubt this would hold-up in court, and I bet it is an empty threat. This admin likes to do that kind of thing.”
I can’t remember who said it, but it went something like, “Never make a threat you do not intend to execute.” Obama did this all the time with his, “Don’t cross this red line...okay, don’t cross THIS red line...okay, THIS one, and this time I’m serious. We’ll send a strongly worded letter!”
When the North Koreans shot some American officers, the new president, Nixon, said, “I’m blasting them back to the stone age.” He then set the entire Pacific theater in motion, moving millions of dollars worth of logistics into place for a long campaign. The Norks must have messed their pants. They hastily apologized and sent a film of them executing “the men who disobeyed their orders.” (I’m guessing a couple of poor shucks pulled off the street.) But because Obama was using the military budget for his social programs, he couldn’t do something like that. Assuming, he understood that the enemy ignores what you say and watches carefully what you do.
