69TH Street Station area in UD is a s***hole.
As a kid I would ride the El the entire length from Bridge St to 69th St just for the experience. In the 60’s there was a radio ad for the area “Just direct your shopping feet to 69th street...easy street...”
While UD has become a hole, the same has happened to my old Tacony/Mayfair/Wissinoming neighborhood. Sad.
“They” spread like locusts and ruin everything.
