LEIGH-ON-SEA, England (AP) — A long-serving member of Parliament was stabbed to death Friday during a meeting with constituents at a church in England, in what police said was a terrorist incident. A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack, which united Britain’s fractious politicians in shock and sorrow.
Counterterrorism officers were leading the investigation into the slaying of Conservative lawmaker David Amess. In a statement early Saturday, the Metropolitan Police described the attack as terrorism and said the early investigation “has revealed a potential motivation linked to Islamist extremism.”
Amess, 69, was attacked around midday Friday at a Methodist church in Leigh-on-Sea, a town about 40 miles (62 kilometers) east of London. Paramedics tried without success to save him. Police arrested the suspect and recovered a knife.

There are few conservatives, as they would be defined in American politics. An American conservative wants to be free to live his life, being left alone, and is willing to leave people alone and only wants to pay the taxes necessary for a functional society.
There is no party that would represent John Locke in Europe. Very nearly everybody is economically liberal over there. A European conservatives concerns himself with the traditions of his country, while a European liberal wants a global world.

No a truism is that most people are equally greedy, that drive is genetic and only second to whom one is screwing in importance. It is just a matter of what the individual is willing to do and what is socially acceptable to acquire wealth. The quickest way to wealth over the past 40 years in the EU has been tight alignment with European socialist policy.
I found by talking to the people of the UK Brexit was about economic promises missed, the wealth of north sea spent on the greeks vs no lines at the airport.

This was a Iranian gov’t attack. The same gov’t / terrorists that the democrats support like biden and obama. The British should kill the leaders as the attacks will not stop if they do not.
