The 7 Day Average of new cases, is now right about half of the peak of the Delta wave - around where the UK's Delta wave plateaued. No sign yet of a plateau in US case case numbers, but the hospitalization curve has inflected a bit, declining slightly slower than had been.

There is NOTHING scientific when this house of cards is based on a “test” that can’t tell a cold from a cola.

So, can you map this onto last year and say it looks about 140% of last year, in terms of deaths (and cases)?
In Jan/Feb would you expect about 5K deaths per day at the peak?
It’s also not going to get below 1K deaths per day between now and then?
never trust a government agency that has the sole responsibility of protecting us from diseases while it refuses to warn us about the dangers of our president spreading hundreds of thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a “global pandemic”...
I was finally once again able to visit my Mom in the nursing home again. I could tell my oldest daughter was a bit nervous being there with my grandson given the COVID cases that was once rampant there.
She relaxed when I explained that grandma has been fully vaccinated, boosted, and was a COVID survivor and is perhaps the most immune person on the planet lol.,
She was surprised that mask weren’t required too. I suppose she assumed I was being my normal rebel self because I’ve made her cringe more than a few times refusing to obey mask rules.
