He’s lying. There isn’t a mandate yet, but these big corporations are using the threat of a mandate to try to force their employees to get vaccinated. This is a win-win for President Houseplant’s handlers. As long as there is only the promise/threat of a mandate, then there is nothing people can do to fight it. They know woke businesses will comply without an actual mandate.

Right. Nobody will get fired and "lose" their jobs to the mandate. They'll just be put on indefinite unpaid leave.
Then when they begin to starve and lose their homes they'll either comply or go away and find another job maybe flipping hamburgers or mowing lawns if the newly arrived "Americans" haven't soaked up those jobs already.

What he SHOULD have done is announce “we are waiting for an actual regulation to be issued”, and in the meantime done nothing.

If I tried to unilaterally change the terms of the contract midway through it without getting consent of the other party, I don’t think I’d get away with it. Guess it works differently if the government is doing it.
