For this election, I believe the bigger issue has been the fraudulent use of absentee ballots, not improper counting by the machines. That’s why recounts come up with the same results (+/- a few votes). we really need a forensic audit to determine how many of the absentee ballots were actually submitted by the legal voters listed.

Machines can flip millions of votes with a couple keystrokes or lines of code. They can hide their dirty work with millions of fractional vote counting and switching.

Being prevented from examining the source code means audits will never find the fraud in machine voting.
