If it was an armed insurrection then why haven’t any of the defendants been charged with insurrection or sedition or treason or any of the other charges you would think might come out of it?

Doesn’t explain bringing tasers, baseball bats, etc to a Trump rally. There were obviously some people in the crowd in attendance in order to start trouble.
I wonder if the investigation will look in to how many protesters were associated with Antifa or BLM? Are Antifa members with semiautomatic rifles who are setting fire to federal courthouses considered armed insurrectionists?

Yes, all protesters had two arms…except a couple veterans who had lost one.
All the FBI agents that breached the Capital before Trump supporters arrived most certainly had some for of arms with their armor and ear pieces
Unlike the “mostly peaceful protests” antifa and BLM held in 2020, this was truly an arm4ed insurrection as most of the “rioters” showed up with two arms, right and left.
