Former President Trump reveals his Republican hit list as he rails against a number of his one-time close allies who he's since fallen out with in a forthcoming book.
'I don't think a lot of the groups have done a good job,' he added, according to 'In Trump's Shadow: The Battle for 2024 and the Future of the GOP,' by political correspondent David Drucker.
'She's a psycho,' Trump said of Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., calling her 'Not the brightest person in the world.'
Trump said that retiring Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., was 'driven out of office because of his stupid, absolutely stupid stance on tariffs.'
He said of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan: 'He's useless . . . total, weak, stupid RINO . . . Has he looked in the mirror? That guy has zero chance.'
And he said of Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney: 'He's very unpopular in his state right now. If he had an election, he couldn't be elected dog catcher.'
Georgia governor Brian Kemp: 'I did two rallies for him in Atlanta [in 2018] and he ended up winning, unfortunately.'
North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr, who is retiring in 2022: 'Lightweight and a stupid person.'
Trump said of Gen. Jim Mattis, his first secretary of defense: 'The world's most overrated general. I beat ISIS after he was gone.'
Of his first attorney general, Jeff Session, Trump said: 'No good.'
Over the weekend, Trump decried at an Iowa rally that Republicans don't seem to show enough 'spine.'
'Congressional Republicans must stay strong. This isn't the time for Republicans to fold, to walk away, to quit, to be afraid,' he said.
'Whatever happens, happens. Don't worry about being impeached, don't worry about anything...
'But they just don't seem to have the spine some of them.'

Trump haters at work for 2024...another book
Based on extensive reporting, a Game of Thrones-like telling of what comes next for the factions and families within the Republican Party as they plot for supremacy in the post-Trump era.
With Trump’s four years in the White House now in the rearview, an unprecedented period in American political history is concluded. The transition, however, has set off a mad scramble for control of a Republican Party that for so long has reflected the domineering image of one man—and might even still in the years ahead. Who emerges from the warring factions and familial rivalries that proliferated and quietly festered during Trump’s presidency could determine the fate of the GOP for a generation, and the first hint of what’s to come begins with the 2024 campaign to crown the first Republican nominee, and national party leader, of the post-Trump era.
bttt
He missed Milley and Kizinger. Maybe others too.
He’s correct on all counts, old news. We know these losers are losers.
Toomey is a do-nothing. Good riddance. Hoping Sean Parnell runs a strong campaign against the current Lt. Governor, the pot smoking good-for-nothing Fetterman. I do believe Parnell actually beat Connor Lamb in the election last year but got the PA Trump treatment.
” Hoping Sean Parnell runs a strong campaign against the current Lt. Governor, the pot smoking good-for-nothing Fetterman.”
Hard to see how the election goes any better because nothing has been done about the voting irregularities in PA.
Toomey was originally a tea party favorite, didn’t take him long to slide into the deep state. At least he isn’t running forever like Specter...
He’s going soft.
He missed some.
I wish Trump would give up his unrequieted love for the GOP.
Taking it over won’t accomplish a thing. It needs to be destroyed.
Let's face it, the number of politicians who are actively undermining our Constitution is yuge. There are maybe a handful in D.C. who love America and aren't corrupt.
There are so many others too.
Seems like 90% of the people he thought he could trust turned on him.
Hey President Trump! I’m available! And trustworthy!
lockdown Larry Hogan won’t even poll well in Maryland.
He’s a total turncoat who wouldn’t know a constitutional liberty if it smacked him in the face.
