I can tell the past few years have been colder than normal, at least here in New York. I’m 59, I remember clear as hell when I was a kid it would routinely hit the 90s in the summer. Now it rarely hits the 90s. Yet the domestic enemies keep pushing the climate hoax. I also live near the water on Long Island, “Long island sound”. We have a dock here that’s from the 1950s. Why isn’t it under water yet? Because climate change is BS
The way they fudge around that is that they talk about it getting "warmer" in NY. There are warmer winters, and there may be warmer low temperatures in all seasons (probably flat). So they say it is getting "warmer" or lie and say. it is getting "hotter". But it is not getting hotter.
Here in Los Angeles we’ve have an unusually mild summer. Temps have reached the 90’s only a few times in the past four months. Zero 100-degree days which normally occur several times in August/September. I’m not complaining!
As a life long NYer I can back your observations. I work outside and temps are easily lower on average. And I’m a person who absolutely hates summer. On top of that the ATLAS Copco air compressor I use often over heats and shuts down on over 95 degree days. It went into auto shutdown every summer since I got it in 2011. It hasn’t shut down once in the last three years
Re: Long Island Sound. In 1998, I asked a moron running for state Senate in the New Haven area about climate change and the ocean rise flooding New Haven (no great loss if it did). Idiot said that it is happening, but I asked about two lighthouses (Thimble Island and Saybrook Point, both older lighthouses) that it wasn’t endangered yet. Idiot said that it will if we don’t do anything soon. So far both lighthouses are safe (along with all lighthouses in Connecticut. Idiot won the seat...
