SENATE October 10, 2021 - 06:00 AM EDT Most Senate Republicans don't want to see Trump run again Most Senate Republicans don't want to see Trump run again BY ALEXANDER BOLTON6 TWEET SHARE MORE Senate Republicans, with a few exceptions, are hoping that former President Trump does not announce his intention to run again for president.
These GOP senators definitely don’t want to see Trump announce a bid before the 2022 midterm elections, fearing that could sink their hopes of winning back the Senate.
More broadly, they’re generally reluctant to see him on the ballot in 2024 at all because of his track record with independent and swing voters.
Several Republican senators, who requested anonymity to discuss Trump frankly, said they don’t want to see Trump return as the party’s standard bearer.
“I think we’re better off when he’s not part of any story,” said a Republican senator, who said his view is widely shared in the GOP conference.

And "most" have been hand-picked by the head pantywaist himself, Mitch McConnell.
The only reason political parties still exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.
The letter after the name means jack anymore.
You are either loyal to our former republic or to Deep State.
These Senators are loyal to Deep State.
Those who object are dirty like the rats, end of story
Trump has more testosterone in his pinky toe than those wussies have in their entire bodies. I’m tired of politicians selling us out. Republicans are no different that DemonRats in this aspect.
Why would you want a loser to run again? Especially a sore loser?
It's a little early for you DU scum bastards to be up and spewing your bile.

Most republicans saying things in this article requested anonymity. Now why would that be?
The headline (per usual) is misleading. Some republicans just don’t want Trump to announce before 2022. They feel that Biden’s list of failure is enough to flip both houses and they are probably right.
Also factor in that Trump wants Rino’s out of the way for his second term. They will be easily identified (besides the big yellow stripes down their backs) by who Trump backs.
The more inflation hits the family budget and the more mandates and FBI investigations hit the front page, the more people realize what a good president Trump was. Yes he had his faults, but who cares if a president is a bit unpolished in his tweets and conversations. He really wanted to Make America Great Again.
Are there any who are NOT?
Don't let enemies control the narrative.
Is Hillary running again? Trump would love the opportunity to stomp her ever broadening derriere again. 3 time loser would fit her well.
Ahhhh, the leftwing communist loser and intellectual idiot speaks to us dimwitted conservatives.
FWIW, if I had my way every member of the House and Senate would be turned out of office his/her next election.
Every single, sodding one.
Check my history - I have been on FR since GW Bush was President. I laugh at how easy losers like you get riled up at anyone who has a different opinion
“Are there any who are NOT?”
Cruz ... Hawley .... Blackburn don’t seem to have a loyalty to Deep State. Not sure about Cotton.
Because he doesn’t want open borders? I’m not voting in 2022.
This is from one of your earlier posts regarding the murder of Ashli Babbit, and true to form, you have been a total ass since your first post.
You come around about once a month, post some stupid statement and go and hide in the dark only to reappear weeks later.
Piss off, forever.
