The suspect is on the loose
An investigation has been launched in Arizona after an apparent attack that left a Maricopa County sheriff’s deputy on life support with a suspect on the loose.
The sheriff's deputy was found critically injured near Van Buren and Dysart Road on Saturday morning and is in critical condition, according to police...
...In a press conference later in the day, police say they have identified the suspect as Clinton Robert Hurley and said he is armed and dangerous....

Why in the world would anyone name their child “Clinton”?
You might as well just name him “Scumbag”.
“The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Clinton Robert Hurley was shot by a homeowner when he tried to break into the victim’s home near 73rd Avenue and Buckeye Road. Officials say the suspect and homeowner know each other and have a history of not getting along.
“Tactical units were able to locate Hurley nearby with a gunshot wound and take him into custody. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, officials say.”
Update: Scottsdale P.D. says suspect “Clinton” apprehended (a couple of hours after the Maricopa Co. Sheriff BOLO).

A rabid dog. Needs to be put down.
I saw Van Buren, and that did not surprise me, but then I saw the cross street, and the location is WAY out west of Tolleson, near Goodyear. I don’t expect to see those types of incidents in that area.
Neck tattoos often indicate deep problems of self acceptance.
Not always, but in many cases that I’ve known such people with extreme tattoo engravings.
They often wish to hide their true nature from others, most especially from themselves.
thanks for posting the pix, Bikkuri :)
So, an armed homeowner did the deed in a free state.
In many liberal states, the homeowner would be in jail while prosecutors looked for an angle to book him.
No problem ;)
