There is no more electricity in the whole country after the two largest power plants in Lebanon were forced to shut down due to a lack of fuel.
The affected Zahrani and Deir Ammar power stations had been providing 40% of Lebanon’s electricity, according to their operator, Electricité Du Liban.
The blackout could last a few days, as a Lebanese government official told Reuters

Sounds like the energy needs for the region were competently forecast, but plans were derailed by outright foolishness. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't keep him from deciding he'd rather freeze in the dark... or something like that.
Some people have always needed to learn the hard way. The dumbing-down efforts and heaps of environmentalists' lies have only made this worse.
