Biden: the monthly totals bounce around....

Yes, from bad to awful to pretty bad and “don’t ask....”

Bobby Vee sang....

… Rubber ball, I come bouncin’ back to you
… I’m like a rubber ball
Baby that’s all that I am to you
Just a rubber ball

You bounce my heart around
And like a rubber ball, I come bouncin’ back to you

He’s clearly under orders not to take questions. Far too risky he’d let out things they don’t want him to.

Yeah, I caught that, too.

It seems that the unemployment rate was lower than expected, not because more people were employed but because a huge number of people just left the labor force - they’ve decided to not even pretend to look for work.

And we know people are being fired across the nation due to
refusal to get the vaccine.

Did anyone else notice that the new jobs were over 300,000
lower than expected, but the jobless figure dropped by
close to 0.5%?

Yes, because less people are looking for jobs than last month.
5% is considered full employment, we are at 4.8%, same as when Trump took office in 2016. We went down to 3.7% until Covid restrictions started.

Two other points: Private sector added 171,000 more jobs than shown because Govt jobs decreased by 171,000 jobs. That’s good. Second, this is a draft report. Every prior draft report for months has been raised when the final report comes out. We are getting down to people who are avoiding work now. Anyone that wants to work can work. The people are the problem, there’s no lack of jobs and wages are up 4.6% this year and still rising, up .6% last month, which exceeds 7% on an annualized basis.

Working through the supply chain problems should be the focus now, but I haven’t heard anything from govt about how they might help fix that.

My question is, how many of the work refusers are simply too scared of Covid to go to work?

That looked like the virtual White House set, but the voices were if reporters shouting at the end. Did anyone see the reporters? And once again he takes no questions and gets away with it.

The FJB chants are eating his soul, consuming him.

He was promised a Rose Garden Strategy would work "this time around" L. O. F. L.

Didn't want to become Yuri Andropov II, disliked by even his own party - they gave him no choice. His mind has rebelled.

To clarify, private sector jobs were about 120,000 short of expectations, not 300,000 lower.

Also, it was historic when we went below 4% unemployment, many economists didn’t think 3.7% was possible.

4.8% is low unemployment.

Check this out:

“Unemployment Rate in the United States averaged 5.77 percent from 1948 until 2021”

Some of the people probably are.

I don’t let it worry me. I haven’t once felt danger from
going out or seeing others.

If it happens and I go toes up, that’s life. Big deal.

It’s going to happen at some point. Who knew? LOL

I think folks have found ways to tap into the government
programs, and they’re satisfied where they are.

Either that or they have found ways to make money from
home.

before walking off without taking reporters’ questions.

Trump treated the media as the opposition, which they were. Biden treats them with contempt, which they've earned.

They all fell off the unemployment roles September 4th when the PUA ended. In government figures that means they are no longer unemployed. Magic!
