I just think there is something here in Hunter’s smug little in-group/out-group thing that bears discussion without that discussion being shut down by the incurious attack that was leveled at you. That post sort of echos what is wrong here with being screened to be allowed to buy the prints, which ironically enough is the reason this country WAS founded to begin with! It wasn’t founded by a smug in-group, was it?!

I don’t think this is necessarily art. The pieces themselves are more abstract patterned decoration and the act of requiring a buyer be screened speaks more to kissing the ring rather than conveying any larger truth.
