When Hillary Clinton set up a private email server in a closet and transmitted classified information and documents via it (as a way to avoid pesky FOIA requests) nothing happened.

The government knew she did it.

The citizenry knew she did it.

Our friends and foes overseas knew she did it.

It made it into the public eye, and they just came right out in a refreshing burst of honesty and said "We aren't going to prosecute her."

And then, you have the case of MM1 Kristan Saucier who took pictures of the inside of a submarine, ostensibly to show his civilian friends what he did for a living, something he was proud of.

He got a year in the Brig.

As I said in my post at #40 above: "We as Americans have a sacred contract with our Republican style of government. In exchange for the sacrifice of allowing ourselves to be governed, we ask two things of those that govern us: First, that we can fairly elect who those people are who will do the governing. Secondly, that those governing us will be required to observe the same laws that we as citizens do."

This is the way things are done in this country now. One set of laws for one set of people. Another set of laws for a different set.

.
You make thoughtful and well written posts.

The FBi, I’m sure you’re are aware, wouldn’t even take the devices from Clinton’s staff that they admitted contained Classified info.

I don’t want it. Something Lindsey Graham would later echo when info from one of Hunter’s three stray laptops was offered to him.

Strzok would claim he didn’t do his job with Hillary and her peeps, because he was over worked. Same guy was flying overseas to instruct assets for other countries what he needed to get Trump.
