What is the price of mutiny on a ship? Answer-you walk the plank. He’ll get off easy comparatively speaking. It will be more a message for the others. Don’t go that route. What that means is that a ship captain has the right to take his ship down to the bottom of the ocean with everyone on it.

His ship wasnt under way at sea or in dry dock and he wasnt on board.

Yes, but what he did isn't mutiny. What ship did he plot to take control of? What mission did he refuse to execute? Name the officer to whom he showed contempt? What direct lawful order did he disobey?
