Visiting family in LAC next week. By chance we are staying in and supporting businesses in free OC. Freedom of movement! Choice!
Went to Santa Anita last week, and forgot the mask rule. Not a problem, until some mask Nazi usher started hounding me. Had to buy one at the gift shop, for $10 plus 10% tax. Told the clerks that I was from OC, and forgot about the rule. One asked “There is no mask mandate in Orange County?”. “No, we’re free, down there”, I replied. They looked at each other like I was describing another planet.
Worst part, I only had to wear the mask for about three minutes !
The vackseen does NOT stop the spread. The only way this tyranny stops is when that fact becomes so obvious that even the media can no longer spin it.
I’m so glad I’ve never had any attraction to California nor New York state...nor New Jersey. Thank God!

I run the Chesapeake Bay Bridge 10K every year about this time of year. Got their newsletter today. Thousands of runners will, obviously, not wear masks to run the 10K...however masks are mandatory on all shuttles taking runners to the starting line. The world has gone completely mad.

Sheriff Villanueva has 10,000 deputies to enforce his wishes, and the BLM racists in LA are terrified of the sheriff.

My shop is in Pacoima, there is NO CODE Enforcement allowed by the Mayor for Pacoima, Arleta, and parts of Sun Valley. Strictly Prohibited ! Nobody will be complying in a lot of parts. The nicer areas generally have Maximum Enforcement of ALL Laws and Codes only because they can PAY $$
If I’m reading you correctly, you have mounted resistance to fascist dictates. Next step, make an alliance to others in the resistance. Before you know it, the fascists are out numbered and will be crawling away to their rat holes.
That won’t stop the spread but may well cause bankruptcy for many businesses and shutdown LA in another way. Goodbye LA!
