It’s mostly from over-time.
12 hour days 6 days a week.
They make approx $20-$24 an hour.
Ok that’s better.
I’d hate to think I should have been a flake.
Why are they making over $15 an hour? I thought that number was magical or something and all work had to be paid at that rate. MSM said so!

If that’s accurate it is one poorly run company and/or management has let the Union back them in a corner in prior contracts in regards to hiring. (or lack of in lieu of paying time and a half and double time)
Must be that new math I’m unaware of. At time and a half after 40 hours, I’m coming up at $109,824 for $24 an hour, 52 weeks in a year. And I don’t believe I’ve ever met someone that worked 72 hours a week for a full year.
Not if you want to talk a union contract where if the maintenance person is called in on Sunday night and therefore able to be considered on OT for however many weeks until they have a day off again and can suddenly buy a bass boat with the next few paychecks, yeah, seen that (in PA!).
