I remember that. I remember Jewish businesses leaving fully functioning and working greenhouses, shops, etc. for the Palestinians to walk into and use to create a fully functioning economy, And I remember the Arabs going into those places, and razing every single business to the concrete floor, because they would touch NOTHING which had been touched by a Jew. And then complaining loudly to any who would listen that the Jews had left them nothing to work with in Gaza and the Israelis wanted Gaza to fail.

Abbas is an enemy of Hamas ; the Palestinian Authority is a separate organization. Hamas is run by Qatar and Iran. The PA’s issue is the West Band and Jerusalem. Hamas’ issue is the total extermination of all Jews.

It’s been amazing how much publicity the mass media gives this old mass-murderer terrorist thug. Every time he spews forth his lies about “Palestinians” (they’re Arabs from Arabia and Egypt and Iraq and Syria)… and every time he issues another threat against Israel/innocent Jews or Christians. And every time he invites more violence.
He’s at best delusional. He’s extremely evil, always.
Why not report on more relevant things, instead? And why not give all the publicity to good people who are helping the world, instead?

The “PA’s” aim is Judea and Samaria — and the rest of Israel, too. Seizing more of the Jewish homeland on the way to exterminating the rest of its Jewish and Christian citizens.

Just like the objectives of Hamas you cited. No difference between Fakestinian or other Muslim terrorist murder gangs, they’re all at least 99 percent alike in their goals. (Each focuses on its own immediate situation but this is a necessary expediency — they share the same ultimate purpose and it is not good news for any of us, to put it mildly —)
