There is less underground storage as there is gasoline tank capacity in all cars in the US. It's the reason a location can easily run out, all it takes is a majority of people filling up instead of letting it stay half or less.
Where is the electricity stored before it gets to your battery?
Does it need to be stored?
Just ask anyone in California who has been told to limit the hours they recharge their electric car batteries.
This? http://www.caiso.com/Documents/ISO-Issues-Flex-Alert-for-Energy-Conservation-Tomorrow.pdf. It was more like the opposite, people were told to charge their EVs in advance.
I watch Mountain Men and one of the characters in North Carolina named Eustace has a tree powered truck.
They’re not that complicated and they’ll work as long as there are trees.
A long time ago back in high school we set up a wood distillation system.
Didn’t run a truck with it but we had a gas flame going.
“And while ramping up output might feel daunting for anyone worried about the transition to electric vehicles, investors—and U.S. consumers turning on the lights—shouldn’t worry.”
Sure, because the renewable fairy will wave her magic wand, and voila!
