I saw her in New York many years ago and couldn’t easily figure out who she was. It finally came to me as a man passed me and said, “Yep, that’s who you think it is!” I never understood people doing that to themselves.
I rode down an elevator at GW hospital with James Carville (when his wife was having a baby) and asked him, “Are you who I think you are?”
He said he was.
I, very politely replied, “Please give your wife my best.”
I hope he intuited the unstated part of my sentiment.
