So went from bats, to wet market, to Maine lobsters where COVID never existed and there are no bio labs in the state?

Actually not correct. Jackson Labs which is the worlds largest purveyor of lab mice is based in Bar Harbor Maine. There are also several other bio industries in Maine. IDDEX which specializes in animal testing products is based in Westbrook Maine. Separately, Abbott Labs has an operation in Scarborough Maine that is producing Covid testing products.

Those are just some that I can think of off the top of my head.

As to the premise of this story, there is no such thing as Boston Lobster. All lobster in the waters of the east coast of the US are of the Homarus americanus genus of lobsters and are colloquially known as Maine Lobster. It is mainly still available off the coast of Maine because we have maintained responsible fishing practices for the last 100 plus years. It has been mostly fished out south of Maine.

Lobsters are naturally dark red/green. They become red after boiling, steaming or baking for eating.
