I get a fair number of emails along the lines of: We’ve had our last fair election, it’s hopeless, America is lost. These disturb me because they represent a faction of conservatism that’s ready to surrender.
The simple fact is that we are at war for the soul of America -- though for now, it’s a cold war. What we are experiencing is not politics as usual. The two political sides do not share common objectives while differing in their approaches to achieve those objectives. They have diametrically opposed objectives. The Left has said that they intend to transform America. We didn’t want to believe them, but they meant it, and have been acting on it.
One of my mentors in the business world was a retired Army colonel. He gave me two important tidbits of wisdom that are applicable in our current time. First: The objective of war is not to kill people and break things, but to break the enemy’s will to resist. That is precisely what the Left has been doing to us -- attempting to break our will. Second: War is only ended by the loser, not the winner. That’s why the pessimist faction of conservatism bothers me the most. They’re ready to concede, and they’re playing into the Left’s hands.
The Left has been working towards the elimination of our will to resist for many years. They’ve leveraged the pandemic to curtail our freedoms. Censorship and deplatforming have been used under the guise of preventing “misinformation.” Freedom of assembly (churches and political rallies) have been restricted in the name of “social distancing.” Even property rights have been suspended with forced business closures and eviction moratoriums.

I utterly loath the surrender monkey losers. Losers in a fight always focus on what the enemy will do. Winners focus on what they are going to do to the enemy.

Depends on the definition of surrender. If the author believes effective fighting means continuing to bow down to what anyone with a pulse can now see as the worthless alter of the ballot box, then he has surrendered already.
We will never vote our way out of this mess. Way past the time of that working. Way past.
This isn't being done without reason.
China is waiting in the wings to help the American Left finish the job.
That said, I agree that we can take America back from the Left. But we need to clearly define our enemy.

Until the test comes, one’s actual courage can only be guessed at. But I find it disturbing that people so easily start whinging and cowering on the damned INTERNET, where you’d think it would be easier to put on a bold face, at least for morale’s sake.
The left? 2020 was indeed a “time for choosing.” The stolen election was certified in the GOP controlled Senate by a vote of 93-7. There is no bigger “surrender” than continuing to support a political party that disenfranchises us all.
You can tell a lot before the actual time comes by how people talk. Losers always focus on how and why something won’t work. Winners focus on all the ways to make it happen, get it done.
I don’t care if they Left DESTROYS this country, and I’ll even help them. All that matters to me is that my RINO Senator loses his job in the process!!! I’ll let my kids deal the nightmare that follows.

Green as usual is an idiot. No one is surrendering or wants to surrender.
Accurately assessing a situation is not surrendering.
But it is easier to make false accusations against people rather than address their assessment.
The only thing to do is to vote out as many rinos and leftist state sos’s as possible, not take your ball and run home to mommy because the other team didn’t play fair.
Happy talk is useless unless we fix the broken electorial system!
