Antarctica has been cooling and continues to accumulate more ice which is driving a world-wide sea level drop. There has been some melting around the Antarctica Peninsula due to apparently underwater volcanoes since the air temperature is dropping there as well.
They mention record heat but fail to mention the world-wide record cold like what occurred in Texas.

An oldie but really good, from Einstein’s old colleague, and a lefty, Freeman Dyson. Years later, he said that the way global warming would be moderated was by increased snowfall at the South Poll , which indeed is happening.
