I experienced a glimmer of hope this week. I live in the SF Bay Area, the bluest of blue areas. My county put in place a vax mandate for restaurants two weeks ago. But I’ve been to FOUR indoor restaurants since then, and was not asked to show evidence of being vaxxed. Nor did they seem to care about masks anymore (and they used to).
Also—Santa Cruz county (very leftist) also dropped their mask mandate. So I’m an optimist and hope that everyone is simply losing interest in covid. CA K-12 schools and colleges will be the last to drop everything unfortunately. The unions are WAY too powerful.
Our state is lost. They will soon hire secret snitches to turn them in and fine them.
