Whoa... great idea. You are in the hole, mostly because you are slow and irrelevant, so slow down your service even more. That’s gonna really pack people in!

Ridiculous. I’ll bet if President Trump was currently in the White House (where he *should* be), he’d fix this mess in a heartbeat.

Resolve budget issues with higher costs and less customer service. Only the FedGov. Funny. Walking the trash form the “box”;to the house is so difficult. Y

They probably copied their tactic from FedEx. Yeah, that’s how you get people to use your service and make money, turn next day air into 4th day air, frequently lose packages, and treat your customers like total garbage. USPS and FedEx are the perfect example of what not to do.

(To be, rather than to seem)
USPS must continue to adapt and improvise.
Unless something changed in recent years, USPS is self-funding via counter sales — not taxation. But, Congress forces USPS to fund pensions 15 years in advance.
The projected losses should be easy to correct.

its frustrating
they complained they were losing money because fedex and ups were taking too much of their business
now that more people are using them they are losing money because they have more paxkages to deliver
give em more of what they say they need, they still lose money

USPS needs to raise prices and shoot for the fastest delivery possible. Bash USPS all you want but UPS or Fedex would never be able to afford pickup and delivery of a first class letter from NY to California for the 58 cents USPS charges now. Even charging $1 for a first class stamp would still make it a bargain.

Recently received a package shipped via 2 day priority. Took 5 days to get it and while on the 4th day (Friday) tracking info said it had been received at the local facility at 7:22 a.m. and was out for delivery, it never arrived till the next day.
I'm constantly getting poor service from my postal facility. They're typical govt. workers who don't give a crap about their jobs.....
Need to call them? Forget about it, nobody ever answers the phone......

Note that it can now officially take five days for your creditor to receiver your payment, unless they are local, and most aren’t.
Better mail payments even farther ahead to avoid trouble.

I’m still waiting for three pieces of First Class mail sent over 25 days ago. One sent within my state and two others from IL and VA. Senders used Paypal in the end.
To: Impala64ssa
Washington State, Montana and Nevada will forfeit 3 day delivery of first class mail, getting instead 5 day delivery. Enjoy!
