Didn’t the punk lose in the debate? He’s definitely a fighter. Gotta hand it to him. We need some of them. The few we have are women.

Idiotic?

Who is idiotic?

All evidence points to the idea that republicans want the democrats in charge. That goes all the way up to mcconnell and graham. The state legislators. The governors. All of them

C’mon man.

The Virginia GOP “leadership” is the weakest I’ve ever seen in any state. They let 20% of the competitive legislative seats go unchallenged in 2019. They’re happy to be the perennial Washington Generals.

Why do people keep acting as if they honestly believe the pieces of professional politician GOPers had any desire to win?

They do what they’re told by those that own the blackmail on them. just like their co-conspirators in the DNC.

The only difference between the parties is the lies they tell while on camera.

It isn't just the VA GOP that is weak, it is the GOP as a whole. This is not stupidity, it is purposeful. The GOP is letting the Democrats do whatever they want, and expecting GOP voters to like it or lump it. At this point, why is anyone surprised by the GOP's lameness?

As long as they keep cashing checks, like all the rest, they do not care.

Has the Virginia Republican Party learned less than nothing in the last 10 years?

The GOP is part of the Uniparty. They are like supporting actors in a big movie production. Why would they oppose any of the other actors on the set?

All of the above stated- Youngkin with a 2 on 1 prevailed, and made McCaulife make a strategic mistake with his arrogant reply that parents have no oversight as to what teachers teach.

Yes we have a bunch of republipussies and it sucks and is frustrating- but this guy is standing tall. this weekend is a national call to action where local Republican organizations are calling Virginia voters. Step up if you can....

The Virginia Republican Party is broken. It is an insular, even incestuous organization that abhors newcomers and fresh ideas. It withheld its full support for Cuccinelli back in 2013 when he narrowly lost to McAuliffe because they didn’t want a Tea Party candidate. It was all downhill from there, especially when the Dems took control of the statehouse in 2017 and Governor Klanhood got elected and Republicans stood by as they proceeded to eviscerate Virginians’ rights and jack taxes up.

The republican side is loaded with infiltrators. It is no accident when they make decisions favorable to the Communist democrats.

Even with Chick Todd’s help, McAuliffe still shot himself in the head with his statement that parents shouldn’t dictate what their children learn. That sound bite should be heard around the nation.

If every patriot did the sensible thing and tossed out their TV and newspaper subscriptions, the debates wouldn’t matter.

For some reason, patriots still feel obliged to “listen to both sides”, “stay informed”, blah blah blah.

But listening to a debate between someone who is right and someone who is wrong is foolish - it just means at least half of what you just listened to was lies.

Because we grew up with an ethic about being “open-minded” and “keeping informed”, we let ourselves be inundated with propaganda.

Even here on FR this narrative is pushed nonstop by certain FReepers, who believe listening to lies is the way to find the truth. They say “know your enemy”.

But that’s like saying a parent needs to watch porn all day to be aware of what their children might be exposed to.

I know I’ll never watch a “debate” moderated by ABCNNBCBS or FOX, and I wish everyone else would stop watching too.

Exactly, it's like he was given truth serum. One would expect him to follow-up saying he hated America and wanted to destroy it.

It doesn’t matter. Youngkin outmaneuvered both and “the punk” committed a HUGE gaffe with his, “Parents don’t have the right to tell schools what to teach” line.
