The EO was signed on September 9th, to my understanding. Why hasn’t the RNC or anyone of note filed a lawsuit? They said they had lawyers and lawsuits standing by ready to rumble. Weeks later, they’ve done nothing.

If the plan is to wait until AFTER the rules are in effect to do anything about this situation, and everybody who can’t or won’t comply has already lost their jobs…I have to say, that sounds like a terrible plan.

You can’t file a suit until the OSHA rule is printed. There isn’t anything to file suit against.

The EO just says, “Come up with a rule.”

That’s not enough to base a lawsuit on.

Why are people so quick to criticize what they don’t understand?

Does this EO include the mandate for executive branch and contractors? Do you know the EO number?

I imagine they know if they try to sue now the courts will do what they did in Pa. No standing because there is no OSHA rule.

Doesn’t look like they need to do it officially cause companies are already doing it. And Congress is silent. Sad stuff all around.

Can’t file a lawsuit against something that doesn’t exist?
