Jackson Hole, come to find out, is a super expensive place to live.

Remember visiting there in 1956 at the Goodrich Ranch on school trip (one of the kids in our school was named Goodrich) - sidewalks were boars and main street was graded gravel or macadam paved. Won $5 on nickle slot at some restaurant.
It was dirt cheap until the late 70s when the ski area started getting traction.
Before that, the little problem of being -30 for most of February deterred all but the most comitted...
Sidewalks were BOARDS ???? NOT BOARS.
Virginia City, NV still has wooden sidewalks....original from 2 large fire rebuild.
