Plenty of islands out there for drug abusers and penal colonies.

More crap.

What matters to the future of the nation is, "where is the DEMAND coming from?"

The supply is irrelevant. The demand is a people-ending crisis which gets worse every day with no attempt to mitigate it.

How about personal experience

Is that good enough.....a good bit of it...I’m very tall...normal weight but my skeletal system is fubar

Multiple heart surgeries etc

Other pain ailments

Don’t like booze so that’s out...I work 70-80 hours every week on the go...I have to be fluid

Fentanyl lacks the euphoria of opiates although it has some

Fentanyl is a synthetic with similar compound design to opiates

Like my posts reiterated....fentanyl is dirt cheap...heroin isn’t.

Fentanyl dulls pain and makes one sleepy with some high

Morphine has a high

Heroin as I recall from snorting it 55 years ago is extremely euphoric

I’ve had a lot of surgery and live with RA and spondylysis cervical

Pretty sharp on pain med properties

I turned down fentanyl patches years ago

Too strong....dulles u out

Opoids in moderate therapeutic dosage don’t do that...they just lubricate and turn down the volume of pain

And idiosyncratically in reasonable doses give one energy

Personal experience is perfectly acceptable. Thanks for the prompt reply.

I’m told cocaine used to be cut with lidocaine. Lidocaine doesn’t have the same psychoactive effect, but has similar pain dulling effects.

I bet a cocaine addict and a heroin addict both associate the pain dulling with the high, and adding some pain dulling to a lower does of either gives the psychological effect of a higher high.

Just my guess.

Yeah. I’d be in Texas now if my not soon enough to be an ex didn’t forbid it.

In retrospect, that was a bad decision on my part.

Don’t tarry to long. Get your relatives out if you can. Out live ‘em if you can’t, or save yourself now.

Business? Work from home elsewhere? Start your own business elsewhere? Jobs are very available elsewhere, probably the best employee job market in half a century!

To my understanding the cartel is using it to cut their product. If it can be made in a lab, that’s a lot less exposure than poppy fields and people to harvest and process the poppies. When an addict gets fentanyl cut product, sometimes they OD, especially if it’s the first time. But what then happens is they now need the fentanyl to satisfy their habit, supposedly non-fentanyl product just doesn’t do it for them anymore, or at least not as well. So they have to then seek out sources that use fentanyl.

It’s funny that the advent of narcan pretty much coincided with the rise of opioid/fentanyl abuse.

I’m not blaming anything.. just referring back to all the calls for pot legalization as the panacea for drug use in this country.

I am no libertarian and I support tough drug laws.

That said no one is being held down and forcibly injected here afaik.

They’re picking on the wrong people; it was the Brits who were involved in the Opium Wars

Why aren’t the streets of London flooded with fentanyl?
