“We have mating inequality in this country,” the marketing professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business told CNN on Saturday.
“Two in three relationships start on Tinder, 50 men, 50 women. Forty-six women show all their attention to just four men and what do those four [men] have? They signal success with a college degree,” he said.
- ADVERTISEMENT - Women make up almost 60 per cent of college students with men being at 40 per cent, and the gap is growing. In the fall of 1970, almost 59 per cent of college students were men, 41 per cent were women.
In 2020, US colleges enrolled 1.5 million fewer students than in 2015 and 71 per cent of those who have chosen to not study on are men. According to the Common Application, women made up 3.8 million college applications in the most recent school year, while men made up 2.8 million.
Mr Galloway noted that men also “drop out at a greater rate”.
“Over the next few years, for every one man that graduates from college, there’s going to be two women,” he said. “So this is becoming overwhelming. College is becoming the domain of women and not men.”
“The most dangerous person in the world is a broke and a lone male and we are producing too many of them,” Mr Galloway added. “The mating inequality that’s going to come out of this dearth of men in college poses an existential risk to our economy and our society.

I must have been ahead of my time, marrying a HS grad 27 years ago when I had a college degree. There are lots of kinds of smart besides academics and weâÂÂve had a marriage of equals.
But, but, but...That’s why Misses go to college, isn’t it????
To become Mrs.
Wouldn’t it be great if the females took the hint and stopped going to universities?
Once places where you LEARN and GROW, now places where you are controlled and stifled.
Depending on the country you go to, 60-70 year old men can get quite a bit of action. Just saying.
[Women do not like to date/marry “down” as a general rule]
A lot of women have a warped idea of what constitutes “up” versus “down.”
Look at the people who tend to get involved with Student Government on Campuses.
Most normies want nothing to do with that stuff. Well, when you leave a void, something is going to fill it.

The decision made clear that aptitude tests would be looked at very closely to see if they had disparate impact. The tests must be closely related to the skills for the job and not simply general knowledge tests. So the decision did not outlaw them, just made them subject to very closely monitoring. In response, a lot of job postings now specify a college degree requirement.
Who's this "WE" sh t-lib?
Created the monster...now "THEY" sound a-scared...
Yep! Women have high SMV (= Sexual Market Value) in their late teens till their early thirties, while "average" men (if they play their cards right) have low SMV till they hit their stride in the mid 30s, whereupon their SMV then outpaces that of their contemporaries of the opposite sex.
Add in illegitimate children, and the disaster is complete.
This talk about "college degrees" is only roiling the waters / confusing the issue! The real issue is the uncontrolled SMV of callow young women (who used to be subject to strict societal strictures) - which is further abetted by our current free-for-all culture.
Regards,
White, Christian, heterosexual males are a minority in colleges without victim status.
Just go on DuckDuckGo or wherever and type in “women rate 80% of men below average”. It’s everywhere.
This is a fascinating topic for me. I have 3 college educated young adult sons and they all got (or are in the process of getting) Bachelor of Science (STEM or STEMish) degrees: a BS in Economics, and a BS in Business/Accounting, and a BS in Computer Science.
They all ignored the indoctrination in college. It’s hard to indoctrinate accounting or computer science classes. The GE indoctrination they tolerated as a necessary evil in order to get their degrees.
One has a fiance, one has a long-term girlfriend, and my youngest—who just started college last month—already has his first girlfriend. So they are enjoying the gender imbalances of college.
I can’t decide if that’s a riding off into the sunset or Brokeback Mountain meme. Both would be fitting to the article.
One sure fire way to increase population is to stop having abortions.
I’m a very Caucasian looking fella from Texas who dated an Australian Aborigine for 3 years while I was in San Diego in the US Navy. She was also 7 years older than I.
I’ve had every flavor of ‘juice’... it’s all sweet to me!
So, this professor wants more men in school? Got it.
When I was 24, I was dating a very attractive 37 year old woman.
Some older women want a guy who will be there when they're in the mood, and won't be upset if she finds someone more "appropriate" later, and she will be understanding if the younger guy finds a younger woman. (And yes I'm currently married to a woman who is slightly younger than me).
I’m early 50’s, widowed, former US sailor, and never went to college. I was CTT in the Navy, and fell into IT work afterward, and have made 100k+ for 5 or more years... I worked at a university for 12 years, and got minimal pay raises despite excellent reviews, so left and went private sector and added 20k easily.
Still, the only time I’ve been on a university campus is football games, and to work.
My cell comments were made to those who might be reluctant to live on the wild side every now and then
I doubt over in five here has a BA or BS...
Main issue college today is not politics
It’s price
