Arizona border flares up as new illegal immigration hot spot

It’s not just Haitians, and it’s not just Texas where the border seems out of control.

Some 3,400 migrants — most of them Brazilian, Venezuelan or Cuban — were mired in Border Patrol holding facilities in Yuma, Arizona, over the weekend, according to the sheriff, who said he has never seen such unruliness....

...Sheriff Wilmot said Yuma was holding about 930 people from Brazil, 819 from Venezuela, 430 Cubans, 400 Haitians, 270 Colombians and others from a mix of countries....Of 110,000 crossers caught in the Yuma Sector this fiscal year, only about 10,000 have been expelled, he said....

They are not MIGRANTS...they are INVADERS.

When do we line the border with armed patriots and protect our country? Nobody has to ever fire a shot, just show up heavily armed and see how many still try it..

Same thing you see with gun control already but in reverse. What are the places witih highest crime rates? Cities with guncontrol. Criminals lookfor unarmed, defenseless victims.

Same here, they only come here because they know nobody will try and shoot them to stop it. Nobody is guarding the border with armed, roving guards like they do at prisons and military istallations, at least during wartime. Put an armed guard every 50 feet and watch it slow down to a trickle in days.

I fully agree with putting up a wall, or at least a 12 foot fence topped with razor wire, but immediately behind it have armed guards 24/7, well lighted at night, security cameras, drones at about 200-300 feet during daylight can see for miles...and we just pulled a bunch of troops out of Afghanistan who need something to do...

Sure a few skirmishes with drug cartels might cause problems for a couple of weeks, but once they find out someone has balls enough to shoot back, they’ll probably back off a few hundred yards too.

Actually just a line of posts and armed guards would do the trick, along with a nice demonstration...set a gallon jug of water on a fence post and wait from cover 100 yards away, well to the side. First time anyone comes within 30 yards of it from across the border, shoot it. Word will spread south quick, watch the place empty out. If you can ht a gallon jug, you can certainly hit a much bigger target on 2 legs. They’ll get the message. I doubt you’d have to waste more than a half dozen bullets and water jugs. At least in one location...but then you just put up a water jug somewhere else. i’m betting nobody would come close.

There are ways to approach this, and it’s very obvious our present farce of a “government” is actually encouraging illegal immigraation, and has no interest whatsoever in stopping it. So when do WE decide to step in?

I’m in Texas, I’ve been sick of illegal immigrants for years. I see it every day. I’ve had problems with them a number of times. Had to pull a 22 rifle on a group of 5 that tried to surround me in front of my apartment. I yelled OK who’s first? they decided to leave. Also aimed my wrist rocket at one another morning, same apartment. The same group threw beer bottles in my yard every evening, the manager tried to make me pick them up. I refused. I guess she took my suggestion ad went over there to see for herself who was outside drinking at night.

Thought I was going to get to clobber one with my walking cane, different town, but I was able to calm the incident down enough it didn’t turn into a fight. Idiot got behind my 76 caddy when it died at a red light and decided to try and push it with his toyota...while I had the hood up no less...honked and cursed at me, tried to push the car, then tried to ram it from behind when I finally got going again...I don’t think police even tried to look for the guy. They told me I shouldn’t have flipped him the finger...While he was trying to shove my car down the road...

One trying to leave a wreck tried to jump in the back of my truck after I told him NO, he couldn’t have a ride. I refuse to go to the local HEB because of a mexican in the deli who speaks no english, why do I have to deal with people who don’t even try to learn our language? and they expect MY MONEY to pay her salary???? Not a chance. Got my order wrong twice, couldn’t understand a word I said, see ya...

Ater 30 years of this I’m ready to see every damn one of them shoved back across the border with a bulldozer...don’t care how many don’t survive the trip either.;
