Just because others have done something wrong does not absolve him. Speaking out once and tossing away your retirement...okay. You paid the price. But if we permit one Lt. Col. who is still on active duty to continue doing this, then we have to give that same right to everyone up and down the chain of command. PFC's and LCpls. challenging every order or operation publicly, without consequence. Lts. and captains publicly and repeatedly criticizing the tactical decisions of their superiors to subordinates. You simply cannot run an effective military that way.

Feel free to disagree.

Didn't say it did, but if they hadn't indulged all the other officers pulling sh*t like this, it would have been less likely that people would do it subsequently.

Same thing with the Stop the Steal rally. The Federal authorities allowed Antifa to burn buildings, assault people, and engage in riots, so this encouraged the belief that this behavior will be tolerated from others.

The breakdown in order preceded the Lt. Col.

We are quickly approaching the time where the military will not be much different from the civilian world. The sense of honor and duty are becoming foreign concepts to many people. The kind of people that we want in our military are getting out just soon as they can. I am a member of a legacy family. My son will probably be the last to serve. We are in deep trouble.
