Make no mistake New York Governor Hochul is going to demand that taxpayers in other states pay for her errors and reimburse the state for National Guard pay.

I wouldn't want to be an insurance company dealing with a claim filed by the family of a patient treated by non-hospital employees.

This reminds me of the time my husband’s employer, Textron Lycoming Engines, decided to replace skilled union mechanics, who were out on strike, with current salaried employees to build engines.

They had secretaries, janitors, and receptionists bolting engines together, with about one week’s quicky training.

The result was engine failure in at least four planes which had been sold to the U. S. Air Force Academy.

Eight young student pilots and their trainers lost their lives in the ensuing crashes.

The company paid out millions in lawsuits to relatives of the deceased airmen.

This was in the late nineties, if you want to look it up.
