The “young Left” of the ‘60s and ‘70s are the “old Left” of today.
They’re in a big hurry to get everything they’ve ever wanted before they croak, so they can finally prove to their long-dead parents that mom and dad were wrong and junior was right.
I’m sure many of you know people like this. Their 2021 worldview is right out of a 1974 “All in the Family” rerun. They can’t let it go.
