It’s not just about limits to emergency powers, but the nature of the “emergency” itself, i.e., if it’s not really an emergency.
A governor could technically declare a weather emergency if it begins to drizzle. Having done so, does he then legally have unlimited power to keep people off the road?
The only weapon we deplorable have is to fight. Being nice doesn’t work with dead wrong.
The ones giving the edict does not wear a mask all day.. I’d bet on that.

1. Masks don’t work. It says it right there on the box...
2. Masks are unhealthy. They leave the kid breathing in his own germs, caus acne, etc.
3. Kids are literally at more of a risk from the notavax than from COVID-19.

Gee are were concerned with quarantining the wrong group to prevent spread of a disease?
It’s very important to teach those kids that they are but cogs in a wheel, that the individual doesn’t count, that the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-fascistic state knows what’s best for them, and that their parents are enemies of the state.
That way they’ll become good, compliant little sheep as they grow up and embrace the collectivity.
