Not in any way a surprise. Tyrants never give up their self-anointed, omnipotent new powers ... unless they are forced to. Tyrants, even petty tyrants like the ones in Australia, must be forced — physically forced in most cases — to treat people as free citizens; to treat people morally, ethically and fairly. Won’t happen otherwise as these self-anointed tyrants have a real taste for control now.
Went to Arkansas this past week, only one person was wearing a mask. Now for the insane part: he had his mask on in a store, nobody else did. Then he got on his motorcycle and rode away wearing the mask but had no helmet!!!!
How crazy is that? His head could be smashed like a pumpkin against the curb but at least he’s wearing his mask for safety.

...and that’s their problem. They try to barricade themselves as some kind of giant island capable of keeping the infections out*. But how, exactly, are they going to exist in the long term? The answer is just what he’s saying, they will have some kind of paranoid bubble-boy existence, having to keep people from outside from coming in, and not even letting their own people even go outside of their bubble.
