A few weeks ago, I was thinking Pedo Joe would move back into the 50s once the Afghan debacle faded. I was wrong. Perhaps enough of the American people really are catching on to make a difference.
They did produce a small spike afterward. But people are feeling the hit with higher food and energy costs, food and product shortages, lost job due to vaccine mandates, etc.
Americans were upset about Afghanistan, but for most people that doesn't affect them personally. (I know that sounds shallow, but bear with me.) What is hitting people personally is the skyrocketing inflation. Every trip to the grocery store or the gas pump is taking a bigger and bigger bite out of our wallet. Americans can FEEL that, and the general malaise/darkness that is creeping over our country. Trump's rally in Georgia gives me hope.
Gas and grocery prices are an ongoing reminder that things are screwed up.
It moved back up slightly a couple of weeks ago. But then we got the Haitian migrant debacle, along with the outlandish slander against our mounted border patrol agents. Stripping funds for Israel's Iron Dome also had some effect; it brought out the anti-Semitic drift of his party.
The American people are not nearly as clueless as the fake news would have us believe.
A big part of any propaganda strategy is to convince us the consensus s against us.
They know people like the comfort of number. People do jump on bandwagons. People don’t like to feel like they are alone.
For that reason, they will always paint a picture that the consensus is with them - that the country is essentially “moderate” or “left of center”. They will depict any conservative movement as “fringe” or “extremist”. Just a few crazy “right wingers”.
But that’s a lie. Americans are as conservative and independent as ever.
Too many things going the wrong way right now + Biden never had the political talent to tread water even in his best days. Now that he is way past his prime, even Dems are wondering if Joe can do the job.
Based on the timing I think it was the images of the border invasion. Need to override the media and start serving up reality sandwiches without them.
One major thing that People have noticed and you cannot escape is the price of food. For example, in January when he took office 88 inch apple pie at my local grocery store was $3.99. It is now $5.99. A loaf of bread that used to cost $.99 is now $1.79.
These are not small normal price increases that people expect of maybe $.05-$.10 on occasion. This is every week some thing you bought the week before is now anywhere from $.50 to a dollar or more expensive.
The Afghan debacle is/was the tipping point. The embodiment and fulfillment of everything that is WRONG and DESTRUCTIVE about this gang of losers.
