Just a small quibble, but there is no such thing as an “unplanned abortion”. I object to conflating miscarriage with abortion. Words mean things (miss you Rush).

It means you abort or you die because a baby is dying in you. It’s not the I-changed-my-mind-about-being-a-mommy type of unplanned abortion.

The OP probably meant to use the term “spontaneous abortion”, which is proper. That is why the Catholic Church’s document on the matter is “Declaration on PROCURED Abortion” and Canon Law uses similar language.
