what a joke. they arent going to shut down their own coal plants. this is just PR nonsense so they can save billions on coal purchases this winter.

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says China's ban on Australian coal has "backfired" and led to blackouts and power shortages.
"Trying to find other coal suppliers has sent the price that China pays for its imports of coal absolutely soaring," he said.
