State lawmakers and corporate attorneys have been chomping at the bit to take the Biden administration to court after the new vaccine mandates. Biden announced executive changes last week, which would reportedly affect 100 million Americans.
........................
“Already we’ve had companies and states indicate they are going to file suit. This is going to be a big payday for lawyers unfortunately, but it will get the case to court right away,” he stated. “I suspect that within a month, the Supreme Court will issue a preliminary decision on whether or not a president, as distinguished in Congress, can impose a near universal mandate.”
..............
For Dershowitz, the mandate should be not be “done under the rubric of emergency, but rather under the rubric of or ordinary congressional power.”

“likely”
So who will shaft the Constitution and freedom this time? Roberts? Barrett?
It doesn’t matter what they say or “rule”
I am NOT taking the jab. They can all go eff themselves!
F U JOE!
I doubt SCOTUS would rule on the merits anytime soon. What will happen is that some litigant will request an injunction to keep the government from carrying out the forced vaccinations while a suit is in progress, which could foreseeably make its way up to SCOTUS in a relatively short time.
The real fireworks are going to come around Thanksgiving when the government employees start getting pink slips. I’d sooner pick up a grizzly bear cub in front of its mother than be the guy handing out pink slips to offices full of government civilians.
The problem is the ‘Karen court’ of our culture.
This is a nation whose men are allowing people who can’t understand normal thinking run it.
People who buy crap like this. A virtue signaling door mat.
States can issue vaccine rules. Not the Federal Govt
It doesn’t matter. The rule will be used against a lot of people that the liberals want to get out of government and the military before the Supreme Court can find against it. Monies will be spent and advisors hired with big payouts.
They knew it would cause a big scream from the whole country but it keeps the front papers clean of Afghanistan.
No. I think it needs to work its way through the lower courts first.
The Federales are claiming that it is a workplace safety rule and claim that it is a workplace safety issue.
“Going postal”
Sure wish someone would make an emergency appeal to the SCOTUS or State SC. My corp is pressing their thumb down on employees ever since that Biden babble of a Covid speech.
This whole vaccine mandate needs to be put to rest once and for all. No one should be forced to receive this jab. No one should have to have a covid passport. That’s insane.
This is going to take months to unpack. OSHA hasn’t even published the rule yet. As soon as they do the lawsuits will be filed
If it were they could not exempt companies with less their 100 employees.
It violates the equal protection clause as well as the whole suppose rational for an “emergency temporary order”
IF this crisis is so sever it requires this sort of extordianry action, it must be applied universally
A workplace does not magically change from safe to unsafe when you add that 100th employee
“States can issue vaccine rules. Not the Federal Govt”
Only if these State rules do not violate the U.S. Constitution bill of rights. Those are there to protect us from a tyrannical local state.
And States signed a contract to uphold these basic rights when they joined the union. Many are now in breach of contract...
There are rules within OSHA that are based on company size. Per OSHA, there are regulations that don’t apply to small companies but do apply to larger companies.
This is mostly a barrier to keep small companies from becoming large and it also explains why the mandate can apply only to companies with 100 or more employees.
No that an apples to oranges comparison that does not fit
ordinary rules subject to the ordinary review and oversite person are not the same thing as an emergency rule
The justification for this emergency rule contradicts the 100 employee cut off
Because the rule being written contradicts the justification for the rule, it most likely, like most OSHA emergency orders, will be struck down by the Courts
Then so are colds, flu, HSV, HPV, AIDS, Athlete’s Foot, etc.
I’m not taking it either.
They’re acting like it’s the mark of the Beast trying to control if you can buy or work.
It’s not the Mark of the Beast of course. But this is setting the stage and it’s 🌎🌍 world-wide which is an attention-getter. 😳😷🤯🥺
That’s news to me. I’ve worked in the metalworking industry for 40 years. I’ve never seen a employment (size) limit affecting OSHA regs.
