I used to be quite pro-police but with them going out of their way to enforce ridiculous laws like those and overlooking violent felonies, I am listening more to that ‘defund the police’ nonsense.

When seconds count, police are minutes away — and will just draw the chalkline.

I know 2 guys who shot at groups of threatening street hoodlums. One of them owned up to it, turned his gun in to the police, [blew out one of the hoods’ knees] and faced bullshiite charges because it was multiple lying hoods against 1 guy. The other guy walked away and never looked back. The 2nd guy did the right thing in my view — now. But I didn’t used to have this viewpoint.

Unfortunately all too many people seem to be clueless about the meaning of most words these days. I saw an item yesterday about dropping the “recommended level” of some pollutant. It should have been the “allowable limit”. I cannot believe that such sloppiness is allowed.
