Though I appreciate the effort you put into it, no defense of Flynn or Powell is needed, in my view.
I think the praise from the Administration for General Milley proves that any “concern” about General Flynn’s phone call with the Russian envoy was simply Deep State prevarication. Milley’s treatment has completely vindicated General Flynn.
Thank you. I put together that timeline not generally in defense of either Flynn or Powell, but because not having a better grasp of the chain of events was creating a real intellectual problem for me, that of determining what is closest to the truth.
For me, looking at all the events leading up to that infamous White House meeting on 1/5/2017 where all the big guns were there and they were discussing what to do about Flynn sealed it for me.
