IMO the jury’s still out with Powell, Flynn, etc.
I understand the irritation people have expressed with Powell for her use of "The Kraken" as an overheated term which could be exploited by those wishing to make this go away, but I see that as rationale to discount what she has done and is trying to do as throwing out the baby with the bath water.
We can agree that her characterization may have been unwise, but it is far more unwise to condemn someone who spent her time, effort, personal capital, and professional reputation to help right what is clearly a wrong.
I think we should all keep that in mind.
She is on OUR side, and she CLEARLY understands the root of wrongdoing here.
I can see that my conclusions differ with some, but I don't have any doubt that this treatment of General Flynn was a politically motivated hit job, from the highest levels of government up to and including the President at the time (Barack Obama) and involved the full power of leveraged federal government agencies, including but not limited to the CIA, FBI, DOJ, DOD, and others.
My defense of Flynn (and ultimately, of Powell) does not excuse any missteps they have taken, but what it does for me is to allow me to be more understanding and forgiving of those mistakes. (Mistakes such as Flynn pleading guilty to save his family (son with a newborn at the time) from the weaponized government, and Powell characterizing the election evidence she has seen as "The Kraken" which many regard as hyperbolic...with what I have seen, it is a loaded term, but I find it hard to characterize what she refers to as "The Kraken" as "hyperbolic". In a normal functioning America, most normal people should have responded the same way she did.)

It was laziness, and my blind adherence to the code of the chain of command and punishment to those who violate it.
As time went on, I considered it my duty as a citizen to understand this abuse of power, and in looking at the available information and the progression of events, to have the perpetrators and drivers of this terrible national crime unpunished and to see an innocent Patriot be broken on the wheel of government injustice and persecution would have been a black mark on our nation. Even though General Flynn has been released from this vice of injustice, it will still be a black mark if the people who perpetrated this go scot free, as it appears they will.
One thing I have discovered it, many of these links (even from those such as The Washington Post, New York Times, and others) have become dead end links.
If there is one thing I have learned for certain in the past five years or so, is that there are few coincidences. I see these slowly decaying links as less the march of time, and more an orchestrated effort to obfuscate the story, with the willing participation of the Media and Big Tech.
