Start making them in Florida and Texas
Since Alabama has UAB (University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham), one of the leading hospitals and medical instruction institutions in America, I would like to see Governor Kay Ivey challenge them to make enough monoclonal antibody infusion meds for Texas, Florida, AND Alabama. I’m sure there is some Federal regulation restricting a hospital from producing meds.
Regeneron certainly has a patent on them, but it would be interesting if additional contract production could be stood up under state auspices.
