One of the least discussed aspects of the Johnny Taliban story is the fact that his dad left the family to lead a gay lifestyle. It’s undoubtedly soul-crushing to have a father turn queer. Now, it’s certainly true that it happens to a lot of other people, and they don’t join the freakin’ Taliban, so I’m not excusing the son. He’s an outlier, but nonetheless he is indicative of how extremely screwed up a kid can get when a parent turns to sodomy. Other kids in similar situations may have issues drugs/alcohol/suicide/depression/eating disorders... Johnny’s reaction was to become the antithesis of his father, adopting a hyper-strict religion and a hyper-macho lifestyle as a jihadist.

When did “Why Johnny Can’t Read” become “Why Johnny Left Home To Become An Islamic Extremist Jihadist Warrior And Fight Against His Own Country’s Military”?

Yes. The MSM swept that under the rug.
