More Republican governors across the United States are publicly supporting President Joe Biden’s massive refugee resettlement operation out of Afghanistan which is set to bring at least 95,000 Afghans to the U.S. over the next year.

Last week, the Biden administration announced that the first group of roughly 36,000 Afghans brought to the U.S. at rapid speed will be resettled across 46 states — including Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

I guess it depends on who you want to believe.

Stephen Miller, in arguing against the Kabul Freedom Lift, detailed how people in the SIV program got through a more intensive background investigation.

Blinken said that there was a 17,000+ person backlog for Afghanis in the SIV program.

It’s estimated that a substantial number of the guys that were in the ANA are now Taliban fighters. And that includes the interpreters.

As for the equipment and trucks, etc….. hard to say that we gave anything to the Taliban or they took it, when the gear was surrendered to them by our “partners” in the ANA/ANP

Even the Taliban are surprised at how fast they’re advancing in Afghanistan

Suffice it to say, many, if not most, of Afghanistan supports the Taliban. Right now there are Afghan refugees in Pakistan that want to go home now that the Taliban is back.

Many of those that worked for the US are still very loyal to the Taliban. Are all of them? No.

But I’d bet that the number of refugees that support the Taliban outnumber those that don’t. But they’ve learned that getting to the US means cashing checks, any babies they have yet citizenship and eventually they can bring the whole family over.

The PTSD will get worse now that the government is bringing them over here.

Heard the same thing when Vietnamese and Cambodians were brought here - average soldiers were furious and wondered what the H they fought for.

I assume same for Afghanistan.
