Somewhat related. I was going to buy a cutting board because the label said “made from Pacific Northwest Lumber”. Turns out the board was made in China. So it was cheaper for a company to ship lumber across the pacific, have it sliced and glued into a board, shipped back over the pacific and then sent to retailers comapred to having a factory in Washington or Oregon.

We need to make Chinese goods prohibitively expensive, if not outright prohibit them.

You paid full price and they kept the "savings".

Tariffs, then more tariffs. After that? Even more tariffs on all imports.
